The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), is a nonprofit international organization that works in cooperation with the Organization of American States (OAS), to promote social and economic development of young people around the world.
The Organization of American States (OAS) is the world’s oldest regional organization, dating back to the First International Conference of American States, held in Washington, D.C., from October 1889 to April 1890. That meeting approved the establishment of the International Union of American Republics, and the stage was set for the weaving of a web of provisions and institutions that came to be known as the inter-American system, the oldest international institutional system.
PepsiCo partnered with YABT to create the Eco-Challenge, an Award category within the TIC Americas Competition that reaches its XV edition in 2020.The Eco-Challenge focuses on sustainable solutions to environmental issues in the Americas.



The Summits of the Americas Secretariat (SAS) forms part of the institutional mechanisms of the Summits of the Americas Process and provides support in the areas of planning, implementation, outreach, and follow up of Summit mandates.
