About

The Talent and Innovation Competitions of the Americas (TIC Americas) have been organized by the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) since 2007. This program has established itself as a global platform for business support and an accelerator for young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 34, citizens of the member states of the Organization of American States (OAS). TIC Americas provides guidance, training, mentorship, seed capital, investment, and access to an international network of contacts. This program is designed to support entrepreneurs on their growth journey, regardless of their business, model, or solution.

The Start-Up Challenge results from the partnership between YABT and Banreservas and is a special category of TIC Americas—specifically, the Entrepreneurship for Action component toward the VII Young Americas Forum, the official youth participation process of the X Summit of the Americas.

The Start-Up Challenge promotes and supports youth-led projects that foster innovation and digital transformation in the Americas, building a resilient future alongside this new generation.

Through the Business Opportunity Online Training Camp (BOOT Camp), an online resource and training hub developed by YABT, young entrepreneurs can connect with industry experts to develop strategies for designing and implementing their business solutions. The program offers continuous support by providing skills-building, mentorship, and visibility opportunities, helping young entrepreneurs to establish, operate and scale micro and small enterprises.
